Our Story
At Tugas Soccer Academy we are inspiring to pass on the TIPS’: Technique, Insight, Personality and Speed and the tiki-taka, a pass and move possession game predicated on supreme technical skill. All levels have specific training drills and concepts to learn but they do overlap each other at all levels are integrated at some point in time..
About Luis Maio
My football career started at a very young age being coached by former greats of the game from Zimbabwe, most notably Bruce Grobbelaar and Sunday Marimo. My passion for the game kept growing and is rivalled by no other. I have had coaching stints with Caps United and also learnt from junior coaches from Barcelona FC in Spain. I went on to coach all age groups at Hellenic High and was there for 7 years before I decided to start my own academy – Tugas Academy. Through my academy, I aim to pass on the love, passion and knowledge of the game that I have gained over the years.
